District-level dairy unit subsidy for small farmers — 2 to 6 milch animals per beneficiary.

- Capital subsidy 50% (general) / 75% (SC-ST) on unit cost
- 2-6 animal units (cow or buffalo)
- Bundled insurance and vet support
- Priority for women SHGs and tribal beneficiaries

- Resident of Maharashtra
- Marginal/small farmer or landless labourer
- Aged 18-60

- Proof of cattle ownership (or vet certificate)
- Land/lease document or PAN card
- Maharashtra residence proof
