About Go-LX
A marketplace and resource hub for India's indigenous cows
Go-LX exists because the people who care most about desi cows — small farmers, gaushalas, breed enthusiasts — were the worst-served by the existing internet. We're building the platform we wished existed: honest listings, a real directory of vets and gaushalas, government scheme information in plain language, and stories that take cows seriously as more than livestock.
What we believe
Indigenous breeds first
Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar, Kankrej and other desi breeds are part of India's heritage and ecology. The platform centers them — not exotic crosses.
Every listing reviewed
A human checks every cow listing before it goes live. We reject anything that smells off — false breed claims, suspicious pricing, missing health info.
Welfare over volume
We don't chase listing counts. A small directory of honest, well-cared-for cows beats a flooded marketplace.
Built for India
Seven languages. WhatsApp-first contact flows. Pricing in ₹. Nothing about Go-LX is a Western marketplace bolted onto a Hindi locale.
How the platform works
- Buyers browse verified listings, contact the seller directly on WhatsApp or call — Go-LX takes no commission.
- Sellers post a cow with breed, age, health and pricing. We review within 24 hours. Approved listings stay live until sold.
- Vets and gaushalas get a free directory listing so farmers can find them. Verification badge on every approved entry.
- Adopters can apply to give a cow a home — often via a verified gaushala. The intent flow protects both adopter and seller.
