• •Listing details — cow breed, age, weight, milk yield, health notes, vaccinations, Cow Aadhaar number (if you provide one), price, location and photographs you upload.

• •Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically, such as your approximate request region, used to operate and secure the service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to operate GoLX, specifically to:

• •Create and secure your account and verify it with a one-time password (OTP).
• •Publish your cow listings after they are reviewed and approved.
• •Allow logged-in buyers to contact sellers about a listing.
• •Review listings for quality and prevent fraud or misuse.
• •Show the site in your preferred language.

4. Mobile Number & OTP Verification

We use your mobile number to sign you in through a one-time password (OTP). The OTP may be delivered via a third-party SMS provider. Your mobile number is also shown to other logged-in users on your own listings so that genuine buyers can contact you. Do not list a number you do not want buyers to see.

5. Cookies

GoLX uses only essential cookies. These keep you signed in and allow the platform to function. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the service to work, the site cannot function properly without them.

6. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as follows:

• •Listing content (including the seller name and contact number) is visible to logged-in users once a listing is approved.
• •Service providers — our database, file storage and SMS delivery are handled by trusted providers who process data on our behalf.
• •Legal reasons — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of users and GoLX.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and listing information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal information except where we must retain it to comply with the law or resolve disputes.

In line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GoLX is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
