Hima came to us as a calf from a temple herd near Tirupati. She has lived under our jackfruit tree for seven years, gentle with my children and the dogs, and never once kicked at milking. Her milk is down to half a litre and we cannot justify her stall to the new buyer of our small farm. I am looking for a family or a gaushala that will let her age in peace, on grass, without ever being sold on. She knows her name. Please help.

Older Punganur cow, otherwise fit. Low milk now — gentle disposition. Used to children.
Our Punganur cow has been with our family for seven years. She is now past her dairy prime and we want her to live the rest of her years in a real cow-loving home rather than be passed to a trader. No money is being asked — only a sincere commitment to her welfare. Punganur is endangered; saving even one is seva.
